Hi, I'm Caitlin, the heart behind Comfort Cuties.
It all started with my grandmother, Claire. When she was living with dementia, I wanted to find a way to bring more comfort and calm to people going through the same journey. In her memory, I designed the very first Comfort Cutie: a weighted therapy baby doll that mimics the soothing sensation of holding a real newborn.
What started as a personal mission has grown into something so much bigger. Today, Comfort Cuties are loved by people of all ages: children and adults managing anxiety, sensory processing disorders, ADHD, and autism, as well as seniors living with dementia and Alzheimer's. Each doll is thoughtfully weighted to provide gentle Deep Pressure Stimulation, offering the same grounding comfort as a weighted blanket in the form of an irresistibly snuggly baby.
Every Comfort Cutie is crafted with high quality plush fabric, realistic weight distributed throughout the body and limbs, and a poseable head, so every hold feels natural, calming, and just right. They even fit real newborn and preemie clothing, making them feel extra lifelike and special.
In Claire's honor, a portion of every doll sale is donated to the Alzheimer's Association. Every cuddle counts.
Thank you so much for supporting a small, woman-owned business and our mission to spread comfort and warmth, one doll at a time.
